Enrollment in each of the three concurrent sessions of the three-year program is limited. Prospective participants are encouraged to register as early as possible.
When
CDI sessions will begin at 10 am on Monday, August 5, 2013, and will end at 1 pm, Thursday, August 8, 2013. A special event is being planned for Monday evening. Only participants who attend ALL sessions will receive credit for the Institute. No excuses for absence other than illness or family/business emergency will be accepted. If illness or emergency causes a participant to miss more than 10 percent of the class sessions, credit for the training cannot be given.

CDI sessions are held at the Stoney Creek Inn located at 101 18th St. Moline, Illinois.

Cost for attending the Institute covers the entire week of institute sessions, materials, refreshments, and special events. In addition, lunch is covered for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Payment is due by June 28, 2013, to secure the Early-Bird rate. Check-in will be held at the Stoney Creek Inn from 8-10 am, on Monday, August 5, 2013. To register for the institute, please complete the online registration form. Registrations are accepted through Friday, August 2, 2013.
Final payments are requested by July 26, 2013, unless prior arrangements are made. Refunds will be issued for cancellations received on or before July 26, 2013, less a $50 processing fee.

A block of rooms has been reserved for CDI participants at Stoney Creek Inn. 309-743-0101. Please mention that you are attending Midwest CDI when making reservations to receive a special rate of $92/night. Reservations must be received by July 4, 2013 to receive the special block rate.

PCED
The Professional Community and Economic Developer (PCED) test will be offered Thursday afternoon following the closing ceremonies. Advance authorization and pre-registration for the test are required 60 days in advance. Pre-register to take the PCED exam at www.cdcouncil.com/CCD_qual.htm. The PCED is optional and not required for CDI attendance.
