WHAT IS THE MIDWEST COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (CDI)?
CDI is an intensive, fun, invigorating four-day training program held each August in Moline, Illinois. The training is practical, hands-on, and comprehensive. You can immediately apply what you learn back home in your community. The program is designed for development professionals, community leaders, and elected officials. Special Events at CDI 2013
Year One Participants will visit the historic Deere-Wiman House in Moline to learn about the process of revitalizing the Quad Cities. There will be a reception at the new Western Illinois University Riverfront Campus, dinner at the Figge Art Musuem in Davenport, an optional bike ride, a motivational speaker, and many opportunities to add new, engaging people to your network.
